What is going on now? After the Sammy bin Liner invasion of a sovereign country to kill a person living there who had done nothing wrong under their Laws I fully expected Pakistan to order USA out of their air space all together!! Face could have been saved and after a suitable period the could allow the US to restart drone flights.
Pakistan has gone a step further than I expected. They have demanded, two months ago, that US Forces leave, immediately, a base at Shamsi in Pakistani Balochistan, which they have been using to fly drones and other aircraft in and out of, with troops and support people on the ground there.
America refuses to leave and says that they will not do so. For Pakistan it is now nearing put up or shut up time. What are they going to do? Cave in or force the Americans out of their sovereign territory?
Will this lead to War between Pakistan and USA if the Americans refuse to move and are attacked by Pakistani troops who could be sent in to recover their land.
