World Cup Terror Plot

Baghdad security spokesman, Major General Qassim Atta has reported that a Saudi Arabian Colonel, Abdullah Al- Qhatani, was arrested two weeks ago, in Iraq, being suspected of masterminding a future terror attack in South Africa during the upcoming World Cup.

It is believed that he was arrested in 2007 under the false name of Muzawar al-Shammari and released by US troops. He is also being accused of being concerned in the deaths of 36 people in Baghdad hotel bombings n January and the deaths of 127 people in similar bombings last December. Apparently, he entered Iraq in 2004 and has been operating in the Northern towns of al-Qaim and Huseyba.

Will this be the first of many World Cup scares?
