Scotland is enjoying a few days of Spring weather just now with sunny dry days which start crisp and heat up in the afternoon. Just a couple of weeks until the clocks are altered. Then we can look forward to our Summer in the month of June.
The Piratebay trial in Sweden actually made the BBC News and has succeeded in bringing many more films to their lists. Home support from the Swedes has brought a goodly number of films in English with Swedish sub titles. I am now learning Swedish. Some Russian and Polish language films have also appeared,but not many in English only,unfortunately for me!!
Some rotter has put in a couple of films which ask you to go to a site to get a "key" to play them. This site only gives you a trojan!! The rotters!!
There are now loads of movie download sites and it will be impossible to put them down as they are all based in different countries. So it looks like the movie companies will just have to lump it and take the loss of revenue. If they go all out on the attack the "freebie" advertising factor will come into play and more films and sites will become available. With the Summer "silly season" in the press circles coming soon there is no point in mounting an attack as it will just be reported worldwide.
Recently,the Sunday Times did a big piece on Piratebay and movie file downloading. This was surprising as the owners of the paper are News International who also own film studios and distribution outlets.
On the economic front the banks have taken the money from various Governments and bought other viable banks! As I said many issues ago there will be big trouble this Summer.
The French, always the first to riot, have gone on strike in time for the Easter holidays.Look forward to police and strikers fighting it out. On a more sinister note it looks like the USA is in for many riots over this coming Summer. But their Government is prepared. The National Guard have been "practicing" locking down small townships and as I reported FEMA have built concentration camps to house protesters. Light blue collar touch paper and retire!
The multi millions of damage will give some work and the police overtime will help out too!!!
Get the beer and crisps in now. Pull up your reclining chair and await the riots.
