New doubt cast over Alex Salmond's claims of Scottish wealth | Politics | The GuardianScotland has plenty of new gas and oil fields offshore. As yet, nobody has actually drilled down to bring up and get ashore these resources surrounding the Western Isles and as far out into the Atlantic as St Kilda and Rockall.
If we do as Norway did, in their dealings with Big Oil, over new licenses to drill in these new fields, Scotland will become very rich,in the near future
