What is wrong with the B 2 ?? Does this mean that the rumours of America closing down all foreign soil bases is true? Are they going to adopt a Fortress America policy and launch long range missions from inside America.?
They flew missions from the East Coast to Iraq and back,many times. But the bombers were supported with American fighter escorts from certainly Britain and probably Italy. Will they risk the bombers going it alone,relying on their stealth capability? Will ships be used for local jamming of radar instead of hi tech electronic jamming planes?
Certainly the budget savings from discontinuing the foreign bases would provide a lot of money to produce any future stealth bomber
