The compensation claims,by haulage contractors, are going to be mega !  But what about the punters,who have goods on the back of the lorries??

You might think that they should go use the ferries which would make sense. But as long as the wagon sits there, with a ticket, the contractor can claim loss of earnings. He just moves other goods with other wagons.

As the driver is 'parked' he/she is outside driving time/hours and not he/she makes a bundle on wages too!
