This film is just another feel good war picture to hype up Americans with rubbish propaganda having lost yet another war. Kyle was a psychopath who loved killing. He was divorced from his wife who knew that he was nuts.
Green Beret, with John Wayne, hyped the Vietnam war, which America lost. There were hundreds of War pictures about WW2. The bomb disposal nonsense film and Kingdom were others in the propaganda genre.
They were ALL fiction just as American Sniper is fiction !!
