The Liberals had much the same problem when they became 'famous' and much more under the public spotlight. Just look at the shenanigans of the late Jeromey Thorpe and his clique,for instance.

UKIP is having the same problem and like the Liberals, they will gradually marginalise and/or get rid of fellow travelers, who are hiding under their bushel. It will take time, but a chance at 15 minutes of fame will draw them out of cover.
