Bedroom tax victim Stephanie Bottrill hit by £20-a-week charge dies after leaving note saying the Government was to blame |

Well this is the first suicide caused, directly, by the Bedroom tax,, which comes in this year Unfortunately, there will be many more people who end it all because of this stupid money grabbing tax. 
The Government can order TWO aircraft carriers at £11 billion each with NO planes for them. Of course, the bill will be double this figure by the time they are actually finished. is the Bedroom tax to pay for them???

For those who don't understand this TAX...............

An unemployed person can apply for Housing Benefit to pay their Rent. The Sick and Disabled can also apply.
If a person lives alone,the Government says that they only require one bedroom. So if the family have grown and moved out, leaving one or two empty bedrooms, the rent payer will have money deducted from their Benefit for those two empty rooms The rent,however remains the same and the person must make up the shortfall themselves.
Failure to pay the full rent, will lead to arrears and eventual eviction. In addition, a Council can apply to the Courts to sell folks possessions to get their money  The same Council will then have a duty to house you, probably after a spell in a homeless unit.
It is going to cost Councils huge amounts in legal fees to evict as most people will just not pay the extra rent .
