Everybody seems to need a target or whipping boy, to take out their frustrations and anger upon. Perhaps, being retrospective would help them a lot more. Whatever happened to live and let live?
By the way whipping boys were once real people. A young slave,normally unable to do productive work, was nominated to stand and await the Master returning home, on American plantations. If the Master had a good day then all was well. If not then all of the frustrations and anger were taken out on the boy.
