30,000 drones have been ordered to 'patrol' American cities for up to 48 hours per shift. This is, obviously, much cheaper than putting people, up there, in helicopters, for three shifts, together with the cost of fuel and need for oxygen if they go above 10,000 feet or so. These drones can fly, well out of sight, at above 40,000 feet and work day and night.
