I have been listening to americanfreedomradio.com recently. They provide a platform for Truthers to put forward their views either on their own or by having guests on to chat about issues. Fair enough and it is a good system, in theory.
It appears that the show hosts contact the broadcast base, via the internet, phone or skype, from wherever they happen to be in the World, as do their guests. They are then boosted out from the hub. Nobody is in a studio. This is a recipe for chaos, never mind if deliberate interference is added to the mix. There are no cues between host and guest on when to speak. So they talk over each other all the time. You must also deal with satellite bounce and delay. Being complete sound idiots, they don't seem to be muffling their unidirectional mikes. So they pick up everything, as soon as a head is raised away from the mike. You hear paper rustle. People clearing their throat, typing stuff, moving in chairs. Traffic noise and so on. You must cover up and stay near to the end of the mike, otherwise it picks up loads. A head muffle is essential!! These people want others to take them seriously???
I have just listened to a disgraceful load of rubbish, with Kerry Cassidy, who was trying to do everything on an i pad!!!! Disconnected music kept appearing. Odd noises, bloops, blurps and clicks, continually interjected, as each system interacted, connected and disconnected, as the guest tried to keep it going. Kerry just kept saying that they were being interfered with, when it was, more probably, all of these systems interacting. The guest was dancing between phone, two different internet connections and a skype link.
It was pathetic!! Really good points were being lost and it all became a bad joke! Finalised by her dog barking!! She is not alone. Ben Fulford's body guard continually rasps and clears his throat. All he needs is a spitoon!! Ben also types on a Japanese typewriter while talking away and bounces on seats, back and forward.
If they want to be taken seriously, then they better get some basic techie sound training and proper mike mufflers.
