Activist Post: Why is the American establishment media sanitizing reality?
The whole American press and media have been muzzled!
Look at the Occupy movement. It was going for two weeks and no American media would go near the story, despite the occupation, within a mile of their offices, in New York!!! it eventually escalated and still very few mainstream media would go near it. Arrests were made and police brutality ensued which finally forced the media to report about it.
I posted about the sloppy information regarding the suicide bombers in an Afghan base. There are only three feeds out of there, the American military, Reuters and AP. The last two are owned by the same company and hardly independent as they used to be in the past.

The numbers of troops killed and injured changed all the time. The American outlets reported that they were NATO troops whereas the rest of the World said that they were Americans. just to keep the folks back home quiet, no doubt.
Pakistani troops have just been killed by helicopters. The Americans are saying, now, that the Pakistanis fired first !!!! When did Al QCIA get choppers???? Those killed were supposed shot by NATO and not Americans, of course.
So the rule appears to be, anything bad then it's NATO and anything good is American. This is an independent media?? I don't think so. Herr Gobbels would have been proud!!!
