Do those who flaunt the poppy on their lapels know that they mock the war dead?
I honestly do not see why you need to wear a poppy during a short period of a year to remember the War dead! To me it is just a money spinner.
Personally,I want to forget about the useless General Haig ordering thousands of men to fix bayonets and go over the top, when the whistle blows. German machine gunners, obviously, knew when they were coming upon hearing the whistle.
How about 'Bomber' Harris, in WW2, who introduced terrorism into warfare by ordering 1,000 bomber raids to target civilians ! Nice guy!! Churchhill, our leader, was stoned on heroin and drink most of the time, just like Hitler.
