There is a Cyber War going on with people breaking into computers and trying to panic the markets. Currently, most big money is moving out of the markets. They have been moving into and out of Gold, often, in order to hump the price to cover the fact that in actuality the US Dollar is going in the tank.
Gold is priced in Dollars as is oil.Some countries will not accept certain other's currency and in order to trade, they must pay in Dollars, which means having to buy them to do business. This is the only thing holding the Dollar up, just now.
