He was 60 yrs old and came from Drumchapel in Glasgow. Brother Peter was also in the Regiment and was later the subject of a documentary showing a small army of mercenaries being trained ,by him , in South America, to go after drug cartels. The British Government asked him to stop the activity, he said.
