If they were stolen property then why should they be allowed to keep them? They ain't a Government which is allowed to keep everything that they plundered over time. The Uk Government and the Elgin Marbles stolen from Greece. Give them back and help Greece with their debt rather than lending them money which will never be paid back.
They should have checked up on the history before trying to authenticate them. Having found out the story then should hen have punted them, quietly. It is not as if they were new to the business so hind sight just doesn't come into it.!
