I really cannot see this actually happening. The spooks of both USA and the UK have huge listening posts in Bahrain,which pick up and transmit all traffic on the airwaves covering most of the Middle East. The island of Guam, in the Indian Ocean, picks up the more easterly traffic and European stations take care of the more westerly traffic.
