True Grit: How an abducted Texan frontier woman - abducted aged 9 - gave birth to the last Comanche Indian commander

True Grit: How an abducted Texan frontier woman - abducted aged 9 - gave birth to the last Comanche Indian commander | Mail Online

Interesting story but does it really warrant being in a NEWs paper? It is silly season in the Uk when journalist disappear to Ascot, Henley Regatta, Cowes Week and various other bun fights throughout the Summer. They dust off old stories, perhaps revamp them and shove them in the paper as their stunning input. Editors have disappeared since Easter and are so drunk that they can't focus on the stories in any case and are happy to see all the bylines apparently working!! As long as circulation figures are good nobody gives a toss about silly stuff, lie NEWS.
One story I remarked on, the other day, originated in 2007 and this one is even older!!!! They all hope and pray that nothing big happens, to interrupt Wimbledon or cricket, which would cause them to have to high tail back, reasonably sober, to cover it.
They all return to work about the end of the school holidays to get the head down, impress and claim their Xmas bonus. Then it is roll on Easter for the Editors and Ascot, but never the Derby or that cruel Grand National, which are so common. The whole charade then begins again. Top columnist can get £100, 000 a year for writing drivel about there kids being able to work and I Pad, when they can't even type!!!
