So everybody who flies on business, on holiday or just to move about is going to be recorded and their records kept on computers. But who keeps the data? Perhaps, more importantly, who has access to that data?
A future Government could very easily pass a Law to merge all databases and so my this simple back door move commercial firms will have recorded most people's details in the Uk for and on behalf of a future Government. Cheap and cheerful, smile for the camera, population data.
This would leave very few people out of the loop. Think about it. Your Driving License has a photo, address and age details. Your Passport has much more data about your movements. If you have a criminal record, it is more than likely, that you have been photographed.
By merging them all they will have a huge data base about the vast majority of the population. This will make forging passports, driving licenses, so easy at present, an impossibility as an iris scan will give out different data regarding address,/D of Birth and so on.
