America is in rather a mess at present. Fires raging and one threatening to burn a nuclear facility. Flood water everywhere and two nuclear power stations under threat of meltdown if the water gets in there!
Most people got no money and many are on food stamps. Prices are rising on a daily basis. Banks are closing at alarming rates. Mortgages are almost impossible to obtain. Oh Bumpy Rumba is in the bath house, oops sorry White House. Could that be a racist address now???
The only folks making bundles of money are in the arms business and they are coining it in. The costs of ELEVEN WARS going on, they only admit to FOUR WARS are running into trillions of Dollars which they have borrowed and are never, ever going to pay back!!! Now an attempt is being made not to allow any more borrowing. it has been tried before but as soon as Senators and Representatives figured out that they would not get paid the brinkmanship ended and they passed a Bill allowing more borrowing to provide more debt not to be ever paid. Who has all the money to buy America's debt?
The Chinese, apparently, who bought Treasury Bills and own most of the American ports. They are trying to buy a huge, disused, San Diego military base to turn it into a container storage depot for Chinese copies of everything and they want to build a housing and factory unit facility from scratch, some where in the mid West, I think, Boonies country, on land they already own.!!
Now, the Chinese are dumping T Bonds and buying into the Euro, very heavily indeed. Are they planning the same moves in Europe.? Folks with plenty money, buy cheap during a depression, to be worth much more, as the normal 11 year economic cycle progresses, as night follows day.
