Why does facebook allow these pages to remain up, when they post about killing people, in a serious manner. I would assume that the RUC read FB, as an intel gathering tool. Perhaps, they have asked that it remain, for that reason. Their is no censorship or moderation on FB, as it is just, way too big. This is one of it's main faults.
People post sexually explicit filth and innuendo, continually breech the Libel Laws, by posting that some people are grooming kids, are paedophiles. Threats of physical violence appear regularly. Queries, as to who has supplies of illegal drugs and a location for collection are asked for. Urging to join illegal demonstrations and flash raids on stores and other business premises, are announced, with locations and times. Many seem to think that it is cool and hip, to mimic the foul and abusive language used in American Films and by the pseudo musicians, who rap in a sort of rythme of their choosing, which certainly does not follow any known genres of poetry, apart from, possibly, doggerel.It has been turned into an open sewer.
It can only get worse, with peer to peer video chat. Unlike the new Google+ system, which will allow up to 10 people to conference video call, FB will be on a one to one basis. Anything which could be done via a webcam, can now be done on either system. Instructions on bomb making, cybersex, assaults, robberies, sadism or masochism can all be shown. it's going to be a fun filled time.
