Both America and Britain have sub contractors who do the 'wet' work and torture victims. people were being lifted of the street and flown to Egypt or Morocco for some 'softening' up before taking another flight to Cuba.
Many stories are on the internet regarding victims who have stated that Americans and British people 'sat in' on the sessions, prompting questions, but taking no physical part other than probably enjoying it all in a rather sick sadistic way. Then if either Government is called to account they can deny all.
Torture is really outmoded, anyway, as a person will say anything to stop the torture, up to and including confessing to crimes that they did not commit. They realise that they must have a day in Court, at some point, where they can refute all charges with evidence.
