Over 4,000 people attended a party organised on Facebook by two Glasgow teenagers. Sections of the crowd got drunk and the police moved in to close the party down at 1700 hrs instead of 2100hrs. The mounted police were pelted with missiles. Are Police on horse back the right way to close a party down? Why not just announce it over the P.A. System that in the interests of public safety it was closed early? Why the provocation of mounted Police.?
