Exactly why I never bought one! They are so busy selling units, for big profits ,that they they didn't care about card security too much. After all, if they lose the data, the banks and card companies take the fall for it all anyway. As long as the spell the name right, Sony, they get free advertising, none of which is bad for them in the long term.
