Lithuania: Smugglers Caught With 70 Million Cigarettes | World | Epoch Times

In Europe the position is just as crazy. Unemployed people make a seriously good illegal living on the South Coast of England going back and forward to France a couple of times per week on the ferries. Simple plan.....
Monday: Recover from the w/end and sign on at the Unemployment Centre.
Tuesday: Hop over to Calais for lunch and return with a backpack and bags containing as much rolling tobacco, cigarettes and booze as they can carry and are allowed to bring. Back to Calais for a late dinner and moonlite return trip. Get plastered in the duty free bar on board and at home.
Wednesday: Sell all for cash.
Thursday: Two trips again for w/end income. Friday: Sales day.
Saturday: Quick lunchtime trip to resupply. Return and party on until Sunday.
Sunday. Sell remainder and begin again.

Every time that they return they are allowed to bring a full allowance. It is supposed to be for own use and not for resale. By moving once a shift it will take a long time for recognition. By using a car or a van sometimes and so on there should be few problems. After all the crime is 'the sale' and not the bringing of it all into the country.
