Android phones give Google the same info as i pad and i phones. Just take out the battery and that ends the process until you put it back in again and it logs where you are, but not how you got there from the point at which you took out the battery, previously. So all they get is a list of times and places, that you were at, when you put in and took out the battery. Buy a mobile for cash as your card details would be tied to the phone. Alternatively, swop phones with a friend and totally confuse anyone who checks "your" phone as they get your friends data.
