I do not dislike, personally, any member of any Royal Family in any country in the World as I do not know any of them. The 'first family' situation has long been an anachronism, held over from feudal times when, due to poor or no education, the people looked to the educated rulers for guidance. Kings and Queens ran the World.
Now, with much more education, people can run their own system without their help. They should be thanked for the good things that their families have done and be pensioned off and finished with altogether. Holland has managed it. So has Sweden, Norway and Denmark. So why can't Britain manage to do without them?
