Did you know that the penalty for giving false information on the voters roll is a fine in the UK
You can put down dozens of names and you get a vote card for each one. In addition, each name is credit worthy as no bad debt file is held against that fake name and the fake name is therefore deemed to be credit worthy!!!! The Post Office will divert anybody's mail to anywhere for a fee. You can do it on the web!!
A name on the voters roll is normally enough for the Police to believe that you actually are that person and you live there. You could be anybody from anywhere. The secret squirrels have abused the system for decades inventing cover addresses and names for "legends" so that a spook can become Rodney Smith from Park Terrace anywhere with credit cards off course!! Who pays the credit cards if the "legend" is ended???
The whole voting system is based on trust and it is a joke. Under the Data Protection Act the Voters Roll cannot be compared to the Census Data. So how many people are on each list? I bet that it varies by millions !!!!!!
I personally think that everyone should have to vote,by law. Then we would see how the people feel. How can a person be a winner if 60% of possible votes are not cast and the "winner" gets 22% of the votes actually cast?
To me, that says that 78% don't like the "winner."
