The British NHS is now a patch up service. If you can hobble about a bit then you don't get "new" joints fitted because that would go on the NHS Budget whereas if a person can hobble about a bit then that goes on the Invalidity budget and not the Health one. Sod the pain that people are in just to guard their own little fiefdoms.
Any staff trained in the UK should be made to sign a contract stating that they will work in the UK for five years in order to repay their training costs, before moving to other countries to get more money and a better lifestyle.
They just bolt out the college gate to other countries these days.
