US Global Hawk Drones Given Access to British and Japanese Airspace! | InvestmentWatchI,along with many others, have been banging on about how soon a drone and an aircraft will collide. It will happen,indeed,there have been several near misses,already.
I do not want to think about a coked up American drone pilot, sitting in a bunker in Las Vegas, who after a weekend partying, on the Strip, comes to work and hits a plane flying over my head !!! Inevitably,the first few of these incidents will be hushed up and birds will get the bad press!!!
We gotta have laws. These drones must have transponders fitted to them. Of course military drones, like military planes, will just have them switched off,but it is a start,when flying over built up areas.
