Muslims are divided into three main groups,the Shi'ites are the biggest and follow the teachings of the son,whom Mohammed picked to succeed him. The Sunni are smaller group and follow the son who was jealous and could not accept his father's choice. Then there are the Wahabbis, who still follow the teachings of Mohammed and have all the money. These, roughly, the players.

I am beginning to think that this is a game of set one against the other to keep them penned in within their own spheres of influence and to stop them expanding further into the West, as they have been doing over the past ten years or so.

The Wahabbis are friends of the West, but hardly friends of the other two groups who,to them,have spoiled their religion with all of the infighting. So who better to fund a good fight and let them kill each other?? Thus they gain more favour in the West for what is really pocket change. The bonus being that neither group will challenge them in the future.  All neat and tidy!!!
