Well I signed up ten days ago for the Infinity 2 system of fibre optic broadband. The engineer arrived within seven days and fitted my new Wi Fi and extra box. He hooked me up at the Exchange and I was off surfing the web !!E Mail checking is so fast now with pages changing really quickly. Downloading stuff is quick too as is te all round experience of surfing.
My old speed was about 3.5 Mbs which was pretty bad. I checked my new speed near midnight,last Thursday and got 66Mbs d/load and 9.8 upload. On Friday morning a web pal suggested checking speed again. So at 11 am on Friday it dropped to 46Mbs and 9.9Mbs up. Now for a twelve hour difference in time a 20Mbs drop is a third.
Fortunately or perhaps unfortunately dong this site needs me to be online to suit the time zones and mostly I surf from 10pm until about 4 am on average depending on stories that I find. I can set up my downloads and surf away.
So last night I kept checking my torrent download speed. Amazing!! I was getting 1.3 Tbs on some files Now I have been told that the average film is 0.750 Mbs I was downloading the first full series of 24 which is about 35.5 Mbs so it was whizzing !! I got series 3 and 4 as well on the same night!!! As these are TV programmes and have been broadcast, I don't feel that I am doing anything illegal.
There are amazing TV series available to d/load,without adverts!!! Just search!!
