Romanian Big Issue seller called the 'benefits teacher' is urging families to follow her to Britain
I have never understood how big issue sellers get away with claiming unemployment benefits. They get an income from selling, which to me, makes them self employed.
Sure, if they have a low income, they can claim rebates for rent and poll tax, just as any self employed person can do. However, they are not available for work, if they are selling the Big Issue
