This war was an ideal trial run for Hitler He sent much aid to the Spanish fascist Government including his new frightening Stuka fighter bombers which screamed down to decimate rebel positions, while the Condor section of heavy bombers, flattened fortifications. It was a trial for the Blitzkriegs which came to Europe later in ww2
