If you run a diesel engined car consider this saving. Take dirty deep fry oil and filter it through fine gauze and then charcoal. all done by gravity, in the garage. What you have left should be clean golden oil. Either reuse it or better still put it in your diesel tank!!! Diesel engines will run on this oil with no problems arising except cooking smells from the exhaust!!!

You can buy huge drums from catering wholesalers or go round local fish&chip shops and restaurants and collect their oil for filtration. Oh by the way, the same filter process will take the red vegetable dye out of industrial diesel, so I've heard!!!  Ask a farmer!  They all drive diesel Volvos and land Rovers after all. It is illegal but chip pan oil ain't, well not yet!
