US Central Command Orders A Fleet Of F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighters To Middle East As Threat From Iran Continues To Build Towards Military Conflict: Nearly a dozen Air Force F-22 Raptor stealth fighters have deployed to counter Iran threats, part of a force buildup requested by U.S. Central Command.
They couldn't send F35s because they did not have containers to put all of the pieces in after taking them apart for shipping. Then, as we all know, there would be a few extra bits found, when they attempted to rebuild them. Just a squirt of lemon juice would keep them flying, for a couple of hours, prior to major overhauls being needed.
