Big Pharma are currently trying to produce a synthisised hash of their own. If they do so,they will,of course,patent their creation. When this happens just watch the rush to legalise their product only with another big push to ban herbal medicine.
Big Pharma tried this in Europe a few years ago. A proposed Law was to be brought in to force herbal remedy suppliers to have a license at an annual cost of 2,000 pounds per shop.!!! Chinese medical shops managed to fight this proposal as many shops are owned by only a few groups.
