I could see the point of those staged events like Sandy Hook and the other mega street theatre events like Boston and so on. They were done to show that attacks cold come anywhere at any time even to sleepy little towns. The mistakes were made in not either pre announcing them or getting out,quickly, the message that they were staged.

I watched Sandy Hook on TV.  The good ol'boys sheriff department just not wanting to play. No ambulances turned up!!!  No evac helicopters  and NO PANIC.  Then out of the moth of a little kid,the very next day  'oh we practiced for this a few months ago.'  while mother cringed and saw her promised mortgage payment disappear!!

Yes, they were a good idea, to wake up Americans, but now it is payback time for not coming out and saying they were fake and making the believers look really really stupid !!
