Chicago police officer charged with murder after shooting black teen | National Post
Apparently the person who was shot and killed was walking away from the officer with his back turned to him. The officer has been charged with murder which no doubt will be reduced to manslaughter.
However an awful lot of American police have been charged and at trial found to be innocent.
