Does this mean that the coffee and tea bill will be reduced for Civil Servants? I drink about 2 LTRS of COKE per 24 HRS. I do not take tea or coffee. Seven cups of either, with 1 sugar, seems normal intact to me,
Morning 1 mid morning 1 lunch 1 mid aft 1 tea time 2 nightcap 1 gives 7 Hardly crazy ???
So is there gong to be a shortage of sugar? I doubt it very much. Some 30 years ago a pal of mine was driving lorry loads of sugar,in bags,from an old store in Port Glasgow to a new one near Glasgow. The old place was rat invested and stone built. It had been a store since ships plied between Havana Liverpool and Glasgow bringing Sugar to the Uk. They took slaves back in return.
However the sugar bags were stamped 1933 War Department and had been in store for over 50 years. !!
Less building,security and staff costs that is certainly a good profit!!!Remember they will be laying down current production now for later on !!!
