Strangely all of these lotteries work in the same way with balls coming out of a machine. The system is based on the bingo hall method used everywhere and thereby hangs a tale..........

I was an Accountant,when I was working and we all went on an interesting course about fraud in bingo parlours one time. The problem surrounds the physics of hot and old and expansion and contraction.

The balls are plastic ping pong balls with air inside and the number painted on it.  The see thru container, to blow the balls up in the air is plastic and run normally by an old hoover which can blow either hot or old air into the plastic container. So the atmosphere inside both balls and container can be regulated. One by hoover and one by hair dryer!!! The balls expand and contract.  

The metal shute can also be heated or cooled which alters,slightly, the diameter of the pipe.  So big balls bounce back and smaller ones go down.  Getting it yet ??

Put the numbers that you do not want out, in the fridge. Or whatever permutation you like. !!
