Why will nobody move to Pitcairn, the Pacific island with free land? - Telegraph
Currently there is a small island for sale between Skye and the mainland in the NW of Scotland. It is half the size of a football pitch and has no electricity supply. Price £10,000 minimum.
I am thinking about putting a big motor home on it, which can run a generator from a mobile home drive shaft, which will keep the engine turning over. !! Using currency invertors, I would have plenty outlets available for mini raves !!!
But how big is a mobile home? How much to hire a boat with a crane to sling it off the boat onto the island.?? Interesting !!
