Government Tests Internet Shutdown News Channels -Drudge | Economy
The Government of USA might want to shut down news channels but then news will get out on sites like mine and news sites outside USA. The nly way to stop news getting out is to shut down the whole Internet which kinda defeats the purpose on a National Emergency.
The original Internet was to be used by Universities and other secure sites, which had keyboards,terminals and an up link / down link capabilities to communicate, in microwave, with satellites orbiting Earth,should EMP attacks blow out normal communications.
