109 women prosecuted for false rape claims in five years, say campaigners 



A false claim of rape can ruin a person's life, completely. No matter if the person is exonerated,the old maxim 'no smoke without fire ' always follows the accused.

As far as I am concerned, any person who falsely accuses another person (s) of rape, should receive a similar sentence to the one that the accused would have received, had they been found guilty.
