Activist Post: When I Look at Candy, All I See Is Petrochemicals and GMO
In Europe, gellitin is used to 'glue' scraps of steak together to make cheap pieces of meat. I first came across it in Amsterdam while on break with friends .
We found a cheap place to eat offering steak and fries in a back street. I noticed that the marblingthe pattern was running all diffrent ways. At first thought I was still stoned from th night bfore but upon concentrating I could see where th bits were joined together. That just put me off.
Eating scraps of meat, with no knowldge of where they came from did not appeal to me. I found the ubiqutous MacDonalds and I was happy!
