As far as I am aware,only Boeing has fitted a system to their planes which allows them to be flown from outside of the aircraft,either from a plane or a ground station. This was put in to stop hijackers taking over planes and demanding that they be flown to a dstination of thir choice.

The Lufwaffe,German Air Force,discovered this system in Boeings which they took delivery of and were not told about. Thy ripped it out and replaced it in ordr that only Germany could tak control. Nedless to say thy wre not happy at not being told!!!

This system is fitted to fly by wire planes only. I suppose that as signals must 'fly through the air' from base to plane, there is a possibility of duplication. Who could do this?  Well Germany,China,Russia or any hi tech based country.
