Well, my first point is that Civil Law is different from the rest of the Uk, in Scotland. A point often forgotten in English newspapers,who consider Scotland to be the North of England.

Second point,  there are no bailiffs in Scotland. We have about 100 Sheriff's Officers,to cover the whole of Scotland, who are controlled under Scottish Law. In Scotland,esential household items,are never taken.
