This something must be malevolent in some way. It is something which cannot be stopped and they have been tracking it for a while.  Whatever else it is,, it is a danger to us and is coming our way. Let's guess, a big meteor. They have the speed at which it is moving and the track which it is on at present. So a pretty easy sum to compute where the small ball will hit the big ball....
We had FEMA stocking up the Eastern seaboard making it a disaster zone and then later,we have deliveries sending body bags to, Porto Rico  So target the Islands area of Bermuda and Bahamas.
Well they have said that there will be exercises, so why can't they be the real deal?  This would give  an easy reason as to why troops are in the area
