I for one am very happy that this intrusive crap is being axed. If it was just a count of people as the word actually means, then it would be fair enough. Over the years the form has got longer and longer. They have wanted to know which languages that the people in the household can speak. What are their ethnic roots.? What colour are they? What religion are they?
It makes sense to know how many people live in a country but these questions are of no use whatsoever other than to keep statisticians in a job. I think that I am the only practicing member of the Abcedarian faith left in the World !!!! That was my religion on the last form !!! Google it !!
